About the Program

​

We are offering the option of a 2-3 months paid internship program (flexible hours to suit your studies) which will give you the opportunity to work alongside industry leading experts.  Your work at Sherpa will help to protect the safety of people within a variety of environments such as oil and gas processing facilities, chemical plants, refineries, and major infrastructure projects.  During your program you will have the opportunity to:

​

• work on a wide range of projects across different industries, including presenting to clients

• travel to sites throughout Australia and SE Asia

• be involved in internal projects to optimise and streamline processes, and business development

• constantly develop your technical and non-technical skills

• develop a role that suits your own needs in a flexible working environment

• potentially transition to a permanent full-time role at Sherpa following your placement

 

About You

​

We are looking for focused, organised, team-oriented individuals with a high propensity for learning and an inquisitive mindset.  The ideal candidate must have a tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Industrial Chemistry, and be able to travel interstate and overseas.
